A Little Off Color?

Literature Text
You look,
shall I say . . .
the hue of mildew.
Could it be?
Are you ill?
Cheeks colored as limbs from a tree.
Fresh, grassy, I could say.
Let me get you a bucket . . .
right this way.
Please, to cry is taboo.
Accept chartreuse.
It becomes you.
Like a dryad,
Or a pixie!
Oh dear.
The faerie has spattered the floor,
I fear she got me,
every bit covered with ichor.
I'll follow her lead,
straight-away verdigris'd.

the hue of mildew.

Oh and by the way, won't you submit to the official Prompt Chaos journal? Make sure to mention the prompt list AND the number in your description though so the judges can easily check for themselves, and link to your work when you comment here:
Prizes prizes prizes - won't do for you to go through all that trouble without a chance at something to make up for it, right?
Prompt Chaos: Friday, April 1stHello and welcome to the first week of Prompt Chaos here at NaNoPlotMo! We will be posting weekly journals on Fridays until May 6th, when the last batch of winners will be announced. The purpose of these journals is twofold:
Announce the winners from the poems that wow'ed us from the previous week by featuring your prompts and poems.
Use the comments section to submit your poems for next week's prizes. You must submit your poem in the comments section of this journal to be considered for any future round of prizes. NaNoPlotMo will not accept poetry submissions to the group, so you must post a link to your poem in the comments section of this journal if you want it to be seen.
Because this is the first week of Prompt Chaos, we have no poems to feature and no prizes won yet. However, we do have a lot of really cool prompts already submitted to the group here. You can find all the prompts HERE. Here are some
